background

I left school with 9 GCSE's (A-C grades) and went on to do A-Levels in Graphic Design, something else and something else.

Due to poor (unexpected) A-Level grades, I went through 'clearing' and got in to Sunderland University, where I embarked upon a degree in Electronic Media Design.

Many drinks, parties and a few classes later, I graduated with a respectable 2.1.
I got my first job in 2003 with a new media company called Revelation Design; which has grew into the award-winning digital agency, TH_NK.

After 4.5 years with them, I decided it was time to move on and I spent 8 months at The Mere Mortals Group. Working primarily within their web team but also supporting their games interface department.

And now, I lead the in-house design effort for an independent travel company called Freedom Direct based in Newcastle.
